A recent, out-of-order photo that works for Halloween—I got this KamaliKulture dress at La Tienda de Jardin for about $7. I saved it to wear to the so-called “Flamenco Fridays” event that totally sucked and we didn’t stay because we couldn’t see the stage. Hopefully I’ll soon find a real event to wear it to.
I went full-on old lady layers for my daughter’s baby shower and I guess I really am getting old because I LOVE this outfit.

When one is dealing with a convalescent dog, one doesn’t get too dressed up….
This is our first post-op day home after Choux Choux, our pit bull puppy, had her knee replacement surgery (hence the sign). This is also what you wear when you’ve stayed in a gross motel where there was zero chance of risking the disgusting shower prior to picking up the dog and driving home.
A day of casually reminding the world that Jesus didn’t say that.
