I wore this the first day I started teaching sewing in the after school program at a local charter school. Jacket is Ivy & Jane thrifted from La Tienda de Jardin and skirt is Brynne Walker thrifted in Taos.

I got this vintage Bailey’s U-Roll-It cutter-style Western hat at Savers, of all places, for $5. I wore it to wander the plaza in Mesilla and the highlight of that afternoon was a car driving by out of which hung a chubby boy, maybe 12 years old, who yelled, “Drug Dealer” as they drove by. Splendid absurdity, young man, splendid.

The complex yet wonderful Free People top I got in Taos with some leggings/pants I am never entirely sure about.

OOTD: Tucson Doesn’t Rank Much for Thrifting
My tiny thrifting haul from Tucson. While the flagship Buffalo Exchange store is there, it is never as rich a hunting ground as the one in Albuquerque. All I got there was this Truly Madly Deeply hi-lo top, and the tulip hem pants were from the Goodwill (they are Elevenses, from Anthropologie). But that was it, man. Not a rich thrift place.
